Love this podcast! Do you have plans to continue it?

I have loved CS Lewis books since a young child! Listening to these book club podcasts has been such a fun thing. As I go through the Chronicles of Narnia with my kids (a yearly reading thought all 7 books in publishing (correct) order) I was able to follow-up this time around with a pod cast for me. It’s just been so great! I am excited to do this with other books as I reread them this year!

So much so that this agnostic bought Mere Christianity - I am working my way through it and so much enjoy the accompanying podcasts way back in season one. Thanks, guys and please keep them coming.

Really fun format combining C.S. Lewis reading and conversation.

I really, really love Lewis’s writings on their own. But it’s really good to read it with someone else and to learn from their experiences with his works. And you guys are an enjoyable group to join up with. Thanks for sharing your perspectives and taking the time to understand and communicate your reflections from Lewis’s books.

The guys do an excellent job of getting across the storyline along with spiritual implications that Lewis baked into his plots. I highly recommend the CS Lewis book club. - Men with Chests

I’m a long-time Lewis fan, seriously going back to before my conscious memory. I own books by him that were published by universities for classrooms and not public consumption. These guys have a passion for his writing and thinking… I’m enjoying their takes very much.

At the beginning of this summer I found all three Ransom trilogy books at a thrift store for $2 a piece. As an avid CS Lewis fan who hadn’t read these books yet, I was thrilled, and began reading my way through the journey of Dr. Ransom and the beautiful writing of Lewis. I was thrilled to find this podcast at the exact time I began reading this trilogy. Dan and Alex have helped me parse through the many themes of the books in a thoughtful, clear way. Their insights are interesting and they clearly bring a winsome approach to the Christian faith that I love. Thank you for making this podcast!

I don’t usually leave reviews but this podcast is so great, I was moved to make an exception. So imagine my horror at finding my review published with 3 stars instead of the 5 I intended (followed by my inability to rectify the situation). My apologies to everyone!

Meaningful conversations about my favorite author and his books! I’m a longtime Lewis reader and informal student of his work, and this podcast speaks to the part of my soul that longs for “Narnia and the North”! I appreciate your discussions about themes that run through all Lewis’s life and work, not only the Chronicles. Dan and Alex, thank you for sharing your thoughts and conversations here.

This podcast is so insightful without being preachy. Alex and Dan have a great dynamic and present really thoughtful takes on the works of CS Lewis, and they are witty too. Lewis himself would be proud. A real joy to listen to. I’ve got to be honest, I’m not reading along right now, it’s been ages since I’ve read these books, but I still find this so enjoyable to listen to and I’m getting so much out of it. I look forward to it every week!

I love C.S. Lewis and have been wanting to gain a better understanding of his books. So this podcast is what I’ve been looking for! I really like the dynamic between Dan & Alex, and I feel like I am getting so much more out of these books now!
